Retreat

The retreat is Nov 19-22 at Watson Homestead in Painted Post, NY. There are 3-4 quilt shops within 20 min drive. Food is provided but you’re welcome to bring drinks and snacks. There are a variety of accommodations available. Patty emailed guild members the registration form. It is also available on the RMQG Facebook page.

Shop Hop

Tentatively planned for April 16th. Stay tuned for more details.

Program

Kitty from Patricia’s Fabric House stopped by to talk shop. Kitty has owned and operated Patricia’s for almost 40 years and has a great story to tell. A later blog post will go into more detail on her story.

Basket Swap

We are doing a basket swap in December! The One Hour Basket pattern can be found on Craftsy. To participate you must bring in a fat quarter to the November meeting.  The FQ will be used as the basket lining. It will be traded at the meeting with someone else who will supply the rest of the materials and construct the basket. Then you will swap back the finished baskets at the December meeting.
